Since 1994 G.A.T.E.WAYS has engaged a great many expert presenters who are passionate about their chosen fields of endeavour and very keen to pass on their skills and knowledge to gifted children.

G.A.T.E.WAYS is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from potential presenters.


Procedure for Registering Students to Participate in Programs

A G.A.T.E.WAYS package will be sent to your school care of the Principal/Gifted Co-ordinator.

Teachers will be able to select 9 children from grades 1,2,3, on one day and Grades 4,5,6, on another day in the case of the midweek Eureka Program or 3 children from each grouping (1/2; 3/4; 5/6) in the case of the extended Journeys, Residencies and On Location programs. Once the package arrives in your school this selection needs to be completed immediately as programs fill quickly.

After children are selected:

  1. Send parents a copy of the program with tear off Expression of Interest Slip to be returned next day. Do not send home an Application Form at this stage.
  2. Once Expression of Interest slips are returned, complete the Registration Fax Form and fax to G.A.T.E.WAYS.
  3. G.A.T.E.WAYS will let you know which children have confirmed places and which ones are on waiting lists.
  4. Give those children with confirmed places a Confirmation Slip and Application Form (to be sent with payment to G.A.T.E.WAYS)
  5. Give the children who do not have a confirmed place a Waiting List slip only
  6. As the programs near, G.A.T.E.WAYS will contact you to let you know if any parents have not sent in their paperwork. Please give parents a reminder. If there is no response to your reminder we will also contact parents if phone numbers have been given.
