Journeys are extended programs for highly able children. They attend once a week for four half days and explore a topic in depth. Subject matter is wide-ranging and is often in areas not always taught in the primary school curriculum. Participants as young as six can become detectives solving hypothetical mysteries, work as archaeologists on a ‘dig’, explore the wonders of the universe, the mathematics of infinity, the world of the brothers Grimm or Gothic literature, or take part in a philosophical ‘community of inquiry'. The possibilities are unlimited!
