The next G.A.T.E.WAYS Challenge will be in 2021. Some individual Challenges are available for purchase as downloadable files via our Publications page.

Schools can enter up to 4 teams of 4 students on each day at one venue only.

On the day of the Challenge, teams will participate in 4 practice sessions in the morning followed by 4 competition challenges in the afternoon.

Each member of a team will be the leader of a specific Challenge.

Each Challenge is set in a scenario or hypothetical situation and is to be completed in 30 minutes.

Team members will be presented with a Challenge badge and a Certificate of Participation. Teachers and parents are invited to attend the presentation session held at the end of the day. The three top teams at each venue will receive trophies and the two top teams will receive an invitation to participate in the finals.
